Meet The Team

Overseeing this process is tasked to Sam Freeman, the managing partner in this business. Sam's life as a gear head started when he drew cars as a young boy, formed clay models, and ultimately built his street racer (66 Charger) in his teens. Through the years, he has continued to draw, design, and build his automotive subjects in the various scales (1:25, 1:12, 1:8) and full sized. Sam restored a 1959 Abarth Double Bubble Zagato that was on the lawn at Pebble Beach. He has owned, restored and modified various cars including: a 1966 Dodge Charger, several 1970 Dodge Challengers, 1966 Corvette, 1959 Abarth Berlina Corsa, 1958 and 1959 Abarth Double Bubbles, 1968 Chevelle, 1958 DeSoto. Through his experiences and related research, Sam brings an abundance of proficient knowledge and expertise to Freeman Automotive Design, LLC.

Fabricating and welding are extremely necessary in our shop. Adoni is a natural here. Sam has known Adoni since he was a day old. He is the son of Sam's long time friend, John. Adoni spent his whole life building, restoring and fabricating cars and related parts with Sam and his father, John. His abilities have surfaced and he has a knack for knowing just what is needed on a particular project. His untiring work ethic and dedication to doing the job right definitely works for us.

Zeus: Shop Dog

Zeus the shop dog poses with automotive restoration projects

Zeus is a 6 year old mix of Husky, Shepherd and whatever jumped over the fence. He's a happy, good-natured, obedient dog. He enjoys chasing a ball but not really bringing it back: that's the job of the person throwing the ball. He likes any kind of food as long as it is meat-flavored meat covered with meat sauce. If he's in a really good mood or you're ignoring him he may get vocal and even sing. Zeus follows Sam around the shop, sits under the desk, and helps with general shop morale.
